Television: Marquee Moon

It’s a sign of Television’s excellence that Marquee Moon manages to be classified as a seminal ‘post-punk’ album, even though it was recorded and released during the earliest days of punk in ’76/77.

Pushing the envelope of songwriting and musicianship, it stands the test of time as a massively influential album. From the new wave bands who followed soon after, right through to the New York revivalists that appeared in the early 2000s and beyond.
