The undisputed breakthrough for a band who had been around since the mid 80s, (this was Pulp’s 5th studio album) Different Class may be known more for the ubiquitous mid-90s singles ‘Disco 2000’ and ‘Common People’, but we think it’s due another examination.
Conceptually dense but easy to enjoy, musically complex but still catchy and memorable, this is a real masterclass in creating a modern pop classic.
